The REF2029 logo is used officially by the REF 2029 team and the UK funding bodies (Medr – the Commission for Tertiary Education and Research, UKRI (Research England), the Scottish Funding Council, the Department for the Economy, Northern Ireland).
Other uses of the logo by third parties (including higher education institutions) are considered uncontrolled uses. This means such uses are not formally approved by REF or the UK funding bodies but are not prohibited, provided they are accurate, do not misrepresent or do not imply endorsement.
Questions about using our logo should be directed to brand@ukri.org.
